Claudio Pino is a jewellery designer world renowned especially for his unique sculptural rings. The combination of colors is the source of all Pino’s designs. He is passionate about gemstones and fascinated by their properties. Pino juxtaposes the cold silver to the warm gold, the calm green emeralds to the vivid red rubies, to the charm and freshness of the white water pearls. In his design, Claudio Pino searches for originality and integrity of expression while exploring new forms of communication in jewelry. All his collections bear witness to the historical grandeur of jewelry making, while at the same time they are animated by contemporary tones. Having gemstones, connected to one's own body movements and having it associated with one's personal appearance is his subject of investigation all by itself.

Since 2000, Pino's collections have been exhibited every year at SOFA New York, SOFA Chicago, PalmBeach3 Contemporary Art Fair, as well as international exhibitions and biennales, such as the Cheongju Biennale in Korea where he received an honourable mention in 2005 and a special prize in 2007. In October 2009, his ring INFINITIES received the “Best in the Show 2009 Steel Trophy” award from the Metal Arts Guild of Canada. His rings were recently included in the Lark Jewellery Book of 1000 Rings: Inspiring Adornments for the Hand, and 500 Wedding Rings: Celebrating a Classic Symbol of Commitment, by the editor, Marthe Le Van. The work of CLAUDIO PINO is always recognized by the fascinating and innovative ways in which he transforms raw materials into unique and extraordinary works of art.

All gemstones are natural and each ring is made by hand, piece by piece with absolutely no casting. They are sculptural masterworks.
